                                     VETERANS

      12 yr old Tony Pontes has been on the team for 1 and a half years now. One of our players was injured and Tony was called up from the minor twos.His first year he was still adjusting but the next year he hit a homerun.

    12 yr old Tim Conway is now in his second season with the Cubs. Last year he had a great glove. In the field he made 10 of 11 fly balls he got in the outfield.

     The twelve year old Jimmy McCabe is also in his second year he had a hot bat. Last year he had 8 rbi's. On 6 hits!!!!!

      11 yr old Tristan Lavalle is now in his 4th yr of Cubs baseball. Last year he made 1 era. He also batted just about .245. He had 9 singles and 1 double!

       Kevin Casey is in his second year. He is finally out of his big brother Mike's shadow. No more being little case. Last year if any fly ball was coming to him you wouldn't even worry about him dropping it cause just about every time he caught. Ground Balls were his specialty he didn't drop one all year, if he did drop it though he kept it in front of him.

       Mike Nickerson is in his 2nd year on the cubs. Last Nicks was on stoppable in the outfield he caught just about every single on of them.

         Big Nick in the last two yrs he has grown 2 inches and two shoesizes. He was a dominate pitcher and was also a great hitter. He hit a homer.
